"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

ABOUT TIME!

Yesterday, Super Bowl Sunday, we moved ALL of our stuff into our home!
All of our belongings are in the house.... not set up, not unpacked, not dusted--- just in there. :)
I'll be working on unpacking and situating everything for the next couple of weeks.
We HOPE to stay the night in our CRIB Wednesday!
I CAN'T WAIT for all my friends and family to see the finished product. We started renovating that house July 10, 2008! Its been tough- but we're survivors!
Patrick purchased the shingles today and will be replacing the roof starting next week. Then we will put up our vinyl siding and shutters. I am having a hard time coming up with a color scheme- any suggestions would be appreciated.
I wanted grey siding, black shutters, and a red door- But the house across the street is outfitted in those colors and I don't want to be a copycat.
My next choice would be a yellow house with white shutters... but that's the
color scheme on the house next to us.
Decisions Decisions...
P.S. I'm loving the first time Homebuyer's Credit for your 2008 Tax Returns!
Whoot! Whoot!
Wish List:
42 Inch Flat Screen for Patrick
New Washing Machine and Dryer
An H2O Hot Steam Mop :)
