"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

My friend Jay started a Blog Spot... so, naturally I wanted one as well. I don't have a kid to talk about and post pictures of, so the next best thing is to talk about myself, right? lol :)

My goal for this year was to keep a diary/ journal of my life... something to share with my kids and grandkids. Anyone who really knows ME, knows I certainly have a story to tell. Since I am FAR too lazy to pick up a pen and paper... I'll just do it with this blog.

I have been told by many people that I should write a book. I may do that one day... I could call it the Chronicles of Christy. (I think that Has a nice ring to it.)

So, from time to time I plan to get on here
AND post BLOGS about my memories, thoughts, stories, and
my life to share with you all.
