"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

.If you need me...

I'll be at my HOUSE!
WHOO HOO!!!
I'm staying the night there this evening (All by my lonesome) because Patrick is
working a 24 at the Fire Department. :(
Patrick went with is dad yesterday to purchase shingles and he will start on the roof shortly. Patrick's dad has been a GodSend- and has been their for us every step of the way. I'm so grateful to have in-laws that are so helpful to us. My mom came over yesterday and helped me put up EVERYTHING! I couldn't have done it without her help! Thanks Momma!
I also painted my rod-iron bed yesterday Flat Black! It looks amazing... and I can't wait to get it in my room today.
We had a group of guys to come over yesterday and tear off the carport and the utility room. It looks really weird without that being attached to the house any longer- but it needed to come down! Patrick has decided to rebuild the carport and add another room on top of it. It will be 1 bedroom/half bath and will serve as Patrick's "Man Cave." But- if we ever sell the house it will be considered a Mother-In-Law Suite. :)
The outside of the house should be completed in about 5 weeks.
New Roof
New Facial Boards
Hardy Board and Vinyl Siding
Shutters
Paint Exterior Doors
Then around September we plan to build the new carport and man cave.
