"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

Brrrr...

Allison and I took a trip to Birmingham and passed this frozen water-fall.
Well, its not really a water-fall... I mean water does fall, so it kinda is-
but, its really a water exhibit/scuplture.

Whatever you call it- it was completley frozen and we couldn't resist pulling over and taking some pics of it:

Allison walked out on it pretty far... then she got in trouble. haha

I had on boots, so I was a little more cautious.

It was pretty cold, but I couldn't have imagined  it would be cold enough for this amount of water to completley freeze. This Global Warming is really something else, isn't it?

That was a fun day! And we discovered that when I'm cold my words get mixed up- especially in the company of a hot guy! lol
