"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

So Far...

My favorite audition for American Idol:

"Hi, I'm Vanessa Wolfe and I jump bridges... Peace Out!"
"100 % Pure Beef"
"This is Risky Business"
"If I didn't have a dress on, I'd throw you a back-flip Simon."
"I'm gonna ride me a ARROWplane."

How could anyone not love this chick!?
My friend Rebecca said she teared up watching her... and I have to say, I did as well.

All jokes aside, I really loved her. She was terribly nervous during the audition... and I don't know if she''ll make it. But, I'm pulling for her. And Patrick liked her too.
Go Vanessa!

BTW- in my 2009 a year in review post. I wrote I celebrated my 27th Birthday in June.
For months now, I have been thinking I'm 27. haha
It was brought to my attention at the Chiropracters office last Friday that I wrote my age as 27 and wrote my birthday as 6-3-83... well, the front desk lady caught my error in age. So...

Happily STILL Twenty-Six,
Christy

STILL glad she isn't from Alabama. I'll pull for her too, but only if Matt Lawrence gets kicked off. :)
