"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

1 Month Check-Up

We went for Camille's one month check-up today and here's the scoop:

She now weighs a whopping 11 lbs. 10 oz.! (98 percentile)
Height: 22' 3/4" (95 percentile)
Head Circumference: 15' 3/4" (95 percentile)

She still looks JUST like her daddy but, I'm so happy to announce that her eyes are totally turning BLUE! At least, she has one of my traits- Take THAT, Patrick! :)

She celebrated her 5 week old birthday on Tuesday. She is a happy and content baby (Knockin' on wood). I can count on one hand the amount of rough nights we've had. She loves to stroll around our neighborhood, sit in her Mamaroo chair, and for her daddy to talk to her. I'll have to post a video of her in the Mamaroo- I call it "Carnival Camille" its like a fair ride for babies. She tends to smile more when Patrick has her and talks to her in his high pitched voice. We're having fun at the Bozeman household!
