"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

.Little by Little.

P and I worked on the finishing touches of our house this weekend. Today- we were going to put a new exterior door in the laundry room. When Patrick removed the door and thresh hold... he noticed quite a bit of rotten wood. No- Big deal, Really. But, Patrick being the "Go To Guy" he is, had to pull out all that rotten wood and decided we needed to go ahead and replace the entire side of the house that touched that area. The rot was caused by water damage from years ago- and mold can grow very rapidly if the entire damaged area isn't removed. SO... we have to tend to this before we could proceed any further. I was hoping that with both of us being off from work today we could finish the interior- but it didn't work out. We still should be able to move some stuff in this week... but not completely move in. Its okay- I'm looking on the Bright Side and thanking God that I have a husband that can do this kind of work- which could have potentially cost thousands of bucks had we hired someone. -Looking forward to moving into that house of ours! I'm going to post some pictures this week... Stay Tuned!
P.S. I would LIKE to give a Congratulatory SHOUT OUT to Jessica (Jason's Wifey) and Brandi (Micky's Wifey) Because Micky and Jason Passed their NCLEX Exams!!Now- we need to get them jobs
and then we MUST
we absolutely MUST
go Shopping!
Its been a Tough YEAR!
