"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

SHINE!

SHINE 2009!
I have enjoyed being involved with the Greenville Players in this years production benefit for the Greenville Area Arts Council.
Last night, was out first show and it went GREAT! Today we performed ACt 2 (The Wizard of Oz) twice for the Children of Fort Dale Academy, W.O. Parmer Elementary, and Greenville Middle School. They Loved all the Wizard of Oz Numbers. At the end of the shows the Children were asked to stand if this was their first time ever at the Ritz Theater. When 90 percent of those kids stood up... it made me want to cry. I remember as a Child, my parents took me to all kinds of shows and plays. I know these kids will forever remember the day they went to The Ritz and saw us Sing and Dance our Hearts Out! It was a very special morning for us as a cast! What a joy it is to be apart of a Child's memory.
Here are A FEW pictures of the Show!
More To Come!
Numbers I am in:
All that Jazz (Chicago)
Tina Turner, Proud Mary (Soloist)
Ease on Down the Road (The Wiz)
