"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

RANDOM

My favorite American Idol Contestants are:

Siobahn Magnus
The girl can REALLY sing and I am so in love with her quirky off the wall personality and her name.
and
Crystal Bowersox
I love everything about her; her story, her style, her weight, and her nasty hair! Don't change for anyone... except your hair, I would like to see that washed and combed out if you win!

In Baby News!
P and I heard the heartbeat last Monday. Doc says it was a good & strong heartbeat :). We left and headed to get Patrick fitted for a tux.  I told him I wished I could have listened longer. Patrick reached in the backseat of the truck and got his stethescope and informed me I could listen with it. Its not as loud as the machine used at the Docs office... but, its still fun to hear. I still don't feel "pregnant" I'm wonder if thats even a feeling? I mean, I feel sick-tired-restless-and emotional. I don't think you really feel pregnant until you feel the baby fluttering around. Hearing the heartbeat sure did make it a reality though... I'm just not one of those women that ACTS like their walking on water because their knocked up.

Its killing me to not know the gender! You really can't do ANYTHING until you find out. My next appointment is on the 12th of April and I'll be two weeks shy of 18 weeks. Usually, you find out around 18 weeks... so, if they can't tell what we're having on the 12th- I'm going to make a seperate appointment just to find out the sex. There is no way I could wait another four weeks for my monthly appt to find out!

I bought this movie:

Its certainly something all expecting mothers should watch! It really opened my eyes to what really goes on in labor and delivery wards in hospitals across America. Don't get me wrong, I'm not planning on having "Pennie" in my living room at home... but, the movie did open my eyes to unnecessary medications and practices. My doctor and I will be having a good little talk on the 12th. ; )

Change of Subject:
Don't drink the water around here- BECAUSE everyone is getting pregnant! RIGHT now, I personally know 9 chicks that are expecting. I love them all, and its a great feeling to know my kids gonna grow up with their kids.

I started a Twitter page... and deleted the Twitter Page... haha. It seems so pointless and it hasn't caught on enough locally for it to serve me any real purpose. But, then again... neither has blogging. I wish more people in Greenville would blog- everyone has so much to say around here. :) haha

Patrick and I had a cookout at our crib for our buds Griffin and Lacy Jo. The cookout was a hit, but it drained ME! Thank Goodness I had my sister to help me, I don't know what I would do without her.
I LOVE YOU, Emily Ray!!!

This Friday, I'm off to the Beach with 8 chicks for Lacy's Bachelorette Party! We are stoked... its going to be nice to get away and have the waves put me to sleep. Ahhhhh... sweet serenity.

I have this AMAZING Japanese Magnolia tree blooming in my yard! It hasn't bloomed at all since we've had our place. It used to have Bamboo growing all around it before Patrick cut it all down and killed it.  Apparently, all the bamboo was sucking up all the nutrients from the tree. It would be much fuller, but we had to remove some of the limbs over the Summer.  I have had lots of neighbors stop me at my mailbox to say how pretty it is. : )  I'll try to get a pic and post soon... before all the blooms fall to the ground.

Not much else to write... All I do in my spare time is sleep- so, unless I blog about the CRAZY dreams I've been having, my posts will be few and far between for a while.
