"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

Baby Update

TBA (to be announced) has fruit graduated to an eggplant! 100 days to go... and she just can't get here soon enough! We have almost finalized a name... Patrick and I threw out all the names we wanted and sat down and actually decided on a name together (Can you believe it?!).  Just waiting for Patrick to give me the go-ahead to announce it. I want her to have a name like yesterday!

I used to think keeping the babies name a secret was so stupid- and that people only did that because they are afraid someone will "steal" their name.  But, I have come to realize that you should NEVER discuss baby names with anyone other than your spouse because everybody is a damn name critic! grrrr.

Tuesday, I mailed off all the material for TBA's bedding and curtains! I should have everything back within 2 weeks... I hope everything turns out as precious as I have it pictured in my mind. Stay tuned for TBA's unveiling of the name!
