"Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to be just like people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, and most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

Dear Camille,

Tonight, your dad and I watched as you rubbed your eyes, yawned, and stretched. We watched excitedly as you bounced around, tossed, and turned... we saw your perfect eyes, perfect nose, perfect lips, ten finger and ten toes.Everything you did tonight was SO amazing to us! I can't even begin to think how excited we'll be when you say your first word, walk across our living room, or tinkle in the potty! You're already so precious to us and we can't wait to hold you in our arms.

Here's some pics from your second photo shoot of life:

Hand in mouth.

This is our favorite... Look at you- flexing your muscles!!! You get that from your Daddy. :)
